About Me
When I was seven my parents were given a camcorder to record our new life in New Zealand; I instantly became obsessed, I always wanted to play with the camera and there began an interest that would turn into a love.
When I was seventeen I realised that I had been creating stories for most of my life, performing for my parents or writing short films with my sisters and friends to film on that very camcorder. I studied filmmaking at college and have been pursuing a career ever since; while also writing and making my own short films and videos.
While at college that was where my storytelling developed into writing, after writing a short story for an assignment I realised I wasn't able to contain that story as a short one and that I wanted to continue and grow the story. After five years of writing I eventually recognised that I wanted to write novels and self-published my first book, which was that short story I started in college.
I’m hoping to to amp up my writing and filming game with lots of projects coming to fruition this year. Like everyone, I’m focusing on working hard; for when everything goes well and especially for when it doesn’t.
